Our Easy Return Policy
General Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items sold by Mt Baker Mercantile within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. To qualify for a refund, the product must be unopened and returned within 30 days of delivery. Opened or used products may be eligible for a partial refund of up to 80% of the purchase price. Products returned after 30 days of delivery are eligible for replacement or exchange only. Items should be returned in their original product packaging.
Original shipping costs and return shipping costs are refunded without penalty only if the received item was defective, damaged at the time of receipt, or if the incorrect items were received. If a product is returned for any other reason, original shipping costs are not refunded. Mt Baker Mercantile inspects all products returned, and, if items are not found to be defective, shipping fees will apply and/or a partial refund may be issued.
You can expect to receive your refund within 3-4 weeks of shipping your package back to us. In most cases, you will receive a refund sooner.
Returning a Product
To return a product, please contact our customer service team at 1-800-965-4460 or email customerservice@mtbakermercantile.com. You will be issued an RMA (Return Manufacturer Authorization) number and provided instructions on how to return your purchase. Please refer to our return policy to verify your product is eligible for return. If you are outside the 30-day return policy timeframe, your purchase is only eligible for replacement or exchange.
Receiving a Refund
We'll initiate your refund after we receive and process your return. For eligible returned products, expect your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper (though in many cases you'll receive the refund sooner).
This time period includes:
5 to 10 business days for us to receive your return from the shipper
3 to 5 business days for us to process your return
The time it takes your bank to process our refund request (see below for specific guidelines)
We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
If the return and refund do not appear within 4 weeks from the day you sent us your return, please contact us for help.
How Refunds are Issued
If you paid by credit card, your refund will go to your credit card about 3-5 business days after your return is processed.
Exchanges
If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please request a replacement. If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please return the original item (you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item) and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order. Please note that it takes 3 to 5 business days for us to process returns once we receive the item.
Gift Returns
Gift recipients may return items they received as a gift even if the order was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase. The type of refund or credit you receive depends on how the gift was purchased and how it was returned. Standard return policies apply to gift returns.
